After such a challenging few years of grappling with the isolation caused by COVID, I wanted to work with the ensemble to explore togetherness; to create a dance that demands a deep attention to each other; to the ebs and flows and the highs and lows; to our shared vulnerability and our collective strength.

Suspense
in doubt of our ability
as a whole
to overcome and achieve
to grieve
as a whole
for that which is dying
passing on knowledge and learning
to believe
as a whole
and weave a new being
stronger
we move forward
together
connected
and ever-adapting
to exist
better
